Kennet School Summer Fair

Lots of attractions including a bucking bronco, large bouncy castle, craft tent, Head Teacher in the Stocks, BBQ and Castle Public House serving pims etc.

Some of the students will be singing and playing music.

There is a grand prize draw and a silent auction where you can bid for lots of prizes including a private boat trip on a boat in Henley, a round of golf for four people at Goring and Streatley Gofl Club.

West Berkshire Mencap - London 10k run

West Berkshire Mencap have 30 places booked for the London 10k run.
If you would like to get fit, see the sights of London and raise funds for a fantastic local charity there are still 7 places left to fill.

West Berkshire Mencap will cover your entry and arrange transport from Newbury to London on the day. All they ask is that you raise a minimum of £150 for the charity.

Newbury to Nantes Fund Raising Bike Ride

Peter, Sam, Craig, Simon and Lee have organised a bike trip from Newbury to Nantes (west coast of France), around 350 miles to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer Research. .

They have decided to organise this event to help raise as much money as they can for Pancreatic Cancer Research in loving memory of Peter's mum Sandra Jessett.

People can get involved with Donnington Valley Golf Club’s Charity day.

Team & Hole Sponsorship

Ideal for local companies to promote their business as well as supporting a great charity.

Company banners can be erected on the tee and by the green on a particular golf hole and includes a team of 4 players with either breakfast or lunch all for juts £200

Music will be provided by resident DJ, playing Radio Donnington in the morning followed by live music by the duo Onyx. There will be a tombola & craft tents too, plus the Dingley Dell café will be manned by the lady members selling bacon rolls and soft drinks etc by the 4th green.
