News Bulletin Schedule
Kick FM broadcasts local news at the following times:-
Every half hour between 6:30am and 9:00am, then hourly until 6:00pm, plus headlines and Sport at 5:30pm.In addition on weekdays, 1pm and at 6pm offers a seven minute round-up of local, national and world news, sport, and finance.
Saturday and Sunday's local news is hourly from 9:00am until 1:00pm.
Local news is produced in-house and is, in the main, made up of local items but also incorporates the main national/international stories at the time.

Automated Programming
Some parts of Kick FM’s output are recorded from time to time to enable the team to concentrate on bringing you West Berkshire’s very best radio station. This is sometimes called Automation. During an average weekday daytime we often record sections of the 10am to 2pm programme; other programmes are fully live. (Daytime as measure by Ofcom is 6am to 7pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday.)On Saturday our output from 9am to 5pm is live.
On Sunday’s our daytime output from 9am – 1pm is live.
All programmes are locally made, apart from: Totally 80s on Saturdays between 6 and 8pm with is provided to Kick FM by Blue Revolution Ltd; The Chatroom on Sunday evenings, which is produced at Tindle Radio's Head Office in Ipswich.

Recent programme highlights include Chris & Claire from West Berkshire's Brighter Breakfast broadcasting the show LIVE from various locations in the area : Thatcham Broadway, Hungerford High Street, on the A4 in Newbury, Camp Hopson Shop window and at local farm!We've also given away CASH on Pounds for Hounds, with listeners getting their dogs to bark for the money.
Recent News Highlights
Recent local news covered includes John O'Gaunt Community College in Hungerford being named as one of the Government's failing schools for GCSE standards and the effect of Basingstoke's driving test centre closing on Newbury.On-going stories which get regular coverage include the plight of people living in Thatcham still being effected ten month's on after last year's floods, the implimentation of new waste and recycling services for all of West Berkshire and the effect of the current fuel price increases on business from taxis to driving schools in the area.

How To Complain
Any complaints made are logged immediately with an acknowledgement receipt issued to the complainant within 24 hours. The details are then passed on to the relevant department. We will aim to resolve any complaint within 10 working days. If under any circumstances a solution to the complaint can not be agreed, a further complaint can be made with Ofcom. For advertising complaints, if we can not find a solution, the complaint can be taken up with ASA.
